About Us
We’ve Pursued the Same Goal Since the Beginning
Antonius Residenz Old Age Home has a distinguished and meaningful history that reflects its long-standing role within the community. The building was originally constructed in 1907 and served as a Catholic hospital, providing medical care and support to the surrounding population for many years. Its early function established it as an important institution dedicated to service, healing, and compassion.
Following its years as a hospital, the building was later repurposed and used as government offices for a period of time. During this phase, it continued to remain an active and functional part of public service infrastructure, contributing to administrative and civic operations in the region.
In 2001, the building underwent another significant transformation when it was converted into the Antonius Residenz Old Age Home. Since then, it has been dedicated to providing care, comfort, and support for elderly residents, ensuring a safe and dignified living environment. The facility continues to uphold values of respect, compassion, and community care.
Today, the historic character of the building, combined with its evolving roles over more than a century, adds a unique sense of heritage and dignity to the old age home. Its enduring presence stands as a testament to adaptive reuse and the continued importance of preserving meaningful community landmarks.
